The contract to provide Norway with visa and residency permit services has been won by VFS Global, the world’s top supplier of technology and outsourcing services to governments and diplomatic missions.

This tender was awarded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, giving VFS Global the task of overseeing Norway’s visa and residency permit services in 52 nations worldwide. Since the partnership’s inception in 2014, VFS Global has effectively managed about 1.5 million applications for Norway-related visas and residency permits.

The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude for the long-standing partnership and looked forward to more professional cooperation. Each side reaffirmed their dedication to carrying out their responsibilities in an ethical manner.

VFS Global’s Head of Business Development, Chris Dix, expressed excitement about the extended contract and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to provide effective visa and residency permit services for Norway. He promised a smooth application process for resident permits or Norwegian Schengen Visas.

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the UK, and the US are just a few of the nations where VFS Global will continue to represent Norway in matters pertaining to visas and residency permits.

Furthermore, services will be available to nationals of 38 countries that need a Schengen visa in order to enter Norway and other Schengen Member States. The Norwegian embassy or consulate has the final say over whether to grant or deny a visa or residence permit application, even though VFS Global gathers the required paperwork.
