According to recent data, Poland awarded the greatest number of work visas to citizens of Ukraine, Belarus, and Turkey in both the first half of last year and this year. According to a detailed analysis, Poland granted 138,789 work visas to citizens of Ukraine in 2022, 120,914 national visas to residents of Belarus, and 10,946 national visas to inhabitants of Turkey. It’s noteworthy that this trend spread to other countries as well. India received 9,786 work visas, followed by Georgia with 8,413 and Moldova with 7,222; Uzbekistan with 5,326; and countries like the Philippines, Nepal, Russia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Armenia.
Although these nations’ nationals also received regular visas in the last year, the quantity of those visas was noticeably smaller.
Furthermore, information concerning work visas issued in the first half of 2023 was added in Konkret24’s statistics. A recurring pattern emerged over this time period, with the biggest numbers of work visas—62,994, 62,236, and 5,429, respectively—being issued to nationals of Ukraine, Belarus, and Turkey. The list also included Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Moldova, Kazakhstan, India, Nepal, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
